How do I… register for imarket?

1. Before you register, please check that your company is not already registered with us at another office or location, and that you have authority from your principal/director/partner to do so
2. Make sure you have your agency numbers for each of the insurers you wish to trade with to hand, together with your company VAT registration number (where relevant) and the name of the principal/director/partner who authorised the registration
3. Go to www.imarket.co.uk
4. Click on ‘New user/register’
5. Click on ‘Next’
6. Click on ‘Next’
7. Read the terms and conditions and click on ‘Accept’
8. Enter the address and contact details for your company and click ‘Go to step 2’
9. This page just confirms your details for security reasons. Click on ‘Go to step 3’
10. Enter your name and contact details and click on ‘Go to step 4’
11. Click on the insurers you wish to trade with online and click the arrow button to move the insurer across to the ‘Selected insurers’ box.
    Top tip: you can select more than one insurer at once by pressing and holding down the control button while clicking on each name.
12. Click on ‘Go to step 5’
13. Enter your agency account number for each insurer and click on ‘Finish’
14. Polaris will phone the principal first to authorise the registration and then wait for the insurer to confirm approval to offer their services via imarket.  Your user name, password and a welcome pack will be issued in due course.
